On Saturday, January 12, 2008, a cabaret show and fundraiser is scheduled for 3:30pm-8pm to benefit Mike and Judith Foreman as Mike recovers from a recent stroke.

Residing in the Twin Cities since 1971, Mike has been a professional singer, vocal coach, author, translator, composer, music director, and more. Judith worked with Mike in several musical endeavors along with her own career as a costumer. Like many in the arts, Mike and Judith are without comprehensive health insurance. Mike & Judith's colleagues, their friends, and Mike's voice students are organizing this benefit to raise money to help with health care expenses from Mike’s stroke.

Entertainment will be provided by performers popular with Twin Cities audiences including Monroe Crossing, Maria Jette, Janis Hardy, Molly Sue McDonald, Gary Briggle, and Michelle Barber.

A silent auction will include local theater tickets for Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Jungle Theater, Minnesota Opera, Nautilus Music-Theater, and more.

Event admission will be by donation at the door.

Volunteers are desired to help with a silent auction, organizing food, etc.
